What is Louisville International Cultural Center?
Louisville International Cultural Center (LICC) is a local, community-based
membership organization dedicated to developing interpersonal and
intercultural understanding. Through a broad range of programs, we bring the people of the Louisville area into close contact
with people from all over the world.
Our mission is to improve intercultural understanding through collaboration,
coalition building, diversified programming, and increased community
involvement.
This website will provide you with summary and detailed information about
our organization, including our community outreach
initiatives, international visitor programs,
membership, volunteer, and donation opportunities.
Most of us will never sit around a conference table in Geneva, or negotiate
the technical language in a trade agreement. However, we all can
participate in public diplomacy initiatives by serving as home hosts,
hospitality and business volunteers for the U.S. Department of State; by opening your homes and
businesses to people visiting our area; and by exchanging expertise with
professionals from all over the world.
